The Christening
Those that know me will know I'm not a religious person, I'm not mass going or any of that and I certainly don't talk about religion on this blog.
However last week myself and my wife were invited to a christening in Christ Church in Waterford City. Taking the obvious "we worship a god" part out of it I honestly have to say that what the minister actually said was very personal in respect of the actual work parents do when raising children (obviously unlike a catholic priest he could speak from actual experience).
it also involved a big sense of community and involvement for all the people in the church, all in all it was a very interesting experience when compared to a catholic christening,
