A reflection of the modern age?
When I was a kid this old Abbey used to be wide open, no locked gates or bars across windows you could wounder in or out as you wanted.
Unfortunately people over the years since around 1980 started to do alot of damage to the old crosses/tombs inside, tombs and crosses that had stood over 500 years and now so many of them are destroy never to be restored, now because of these people the whole place it locked so only the few can enter it...such a shame.
Yet often we think we are better then those that came before us.
